Custom Orders

So happy finally I’ve done doing my custom orders within 2 weeks. I’m happy keeping myself busy though sometimes I feel too overwhelmed. It’s really hard to do lot of things at one moment – household things and crocheting at one time. Sometimes it makes me too lazy to cook (but I have to), regularly doing a laundry but too lazy to fold them, and so many things I should do but not yet finished properly 🙈 Plus now, I have a new pet, it’s a stray kitten. My son brought her home without any plans at all, and I was confused because I’m a newbie at taking care of animal especially kitten. But in the other way, she’s really cute yet looked so aweful.. skinny, dirty, and hunger 😩😢 I bathed her and fed her, hope she’s happy to be here now.

Oh I’m sorry, my story is out of the line 😄 where were we? it’s about custom orders, rite? Ok.. Here’s some custom orders that already finished and ready to be delivered to their new homes..

He’s Panda Boy in ochre striped shirt. Plus red bow tie as his finishing look. Cute rite? 🐼 I love stripes, I love ochre (or mustard?), I love white, I love red. All my favorite colors attached on his body!

Glowey in pink! I don’t know why my customers love Glowey in pink rather than other colors. I’m wondering.. how does his look in another color? 🤔 Unfortunately, I deleted his picture for no reason 😑 But you can click here to see his look.

Mobile Cloud Amigurumi. I’ve changed the droplets colors… but hopefully my customer will still love it 😍 she still looks cute, rite?

Tea Time Banner. I designed and made this teacup crochet patchwork because I love tea than any kind of drinks in this world 😄 Then I attached the appliqué on a piece of fabric and create a banner. FYI, I’ve got this one hanging on my wall 😃 And I added hand embroidery letters on the top of the appliqué as a statement words. I love making this piece. I crocheted, embroidered the words, and sewn the fabric at once. All in one piece of banner 💛

I do what I love, I love what I do 😊💛

Cloud Amigurumi

Hello again, it’s been awhile since my last post… Looks like I’m drowning in daily routine and forgot to write down my project progress.

Well, in early July, I’ve finished making and writing a new pattern. It’s about a cloud, it’s a very versatile amigurumi cloud pattern. Yeah, I love making a versatile pattern so you won’t stuck only in one idea. Why I said it a versatile pattern? Because only from one pattern you can create more than one creations. Please tell me now, what you’re going to make from this one? 😀

I say it could be a cloud mobile, baby rattle, or brooch. See? I got three ideas from one pattern. So tell me what you’re going to make using this basic pattern? 😀

This pattern I made by request from my friend who wanted this kind of cloud mobile for her pre-teen daughter. I admit it’s so hard to make the cloud-shape in amigurumi, need so many times of trials and errors. Instead of complaining about the difficulty parts, better I show you the result…

I didn’t expect the result really blown my mind… it’s SO cute, maybe too cute! Don’t you think so? 😀

I’ve sent it away and she’s happy with the result 😀 And then I wrote the pattern after that, but only the cloud as a basic pattern, plus “drop” as the bonus pattern. The pattern is ready to download both on my Etsy shop and Ravelry (yes, finally I have a new store on Ravelry).

Granny Square Sophie

About a month ago, my mother asked me to make a crochet cushion as a birthday gift for her darling neighbor. I said okay instead of no, didn’t want to disappoint her though I wasn’t in a good mood to make that kind of thing. I’ve tried 1 or 2 patterns but still, I had no feeling about what I’ve done. One reason that made me lazy to did that was, it’s a cushion. Actually, I never enjoy making a crochet cushion-thing, unless the pattern is interesting. It’s important for me to avoid boredom and sleepy, or it will end with a goodbye (means it’s wasting time, energy, and of course yarns :p ).

Then I remembered long while ago I really crushed on Granny Square Sophie by Marianne and waited the right time to make it happen (and I thought that “now” was the right time). Her blog full of stories to read and free crochet patterns to try. And her Instagram (that I already followed) is so awesome, she did amazing works. I was so sure and decided to make that pattern as crochet pillow cushion, for my mother’s sake 🙂

But you have to stop here first because I want you to show you what I’ve done as the first start. I use a local product of soft cotton yarn with hook no.6. In my opinion, Granny Square Sophie will be more outstanding with crochet lace yarn, it will give a delicate look for sure.

I made 9 GS Sophie, and this is the first time in my life to try wet blocking. The final size is 32 x 32 cm (after wet blocking).

I attach them to a cotton fabric cushion that I’ve sewn before, in size 34 x 34 cm. I made it bigger than the GS Sophie on purpose so the pattern will be seen beautifully. This is one side crochet cushion, fast and easy to make 🙂

So, what do you think?

I already sent this image to my mother but she hasn’t reply my text yet. But I’m sure she will happy with this result!

Little Miss Sakura

Spring and autumn are my most favorite seasons. They have a different story to tell. But first, let’s talk about spring because spring is around the corner! What do I think about spring? I LOVE it! Flowers are everywhere, the weather is getting warmer, butterflies are free, busy bees (ooh, I’m scared of it!), and especially cherry blossom. Yes, cherry blossom AKA sakura, she’s the prettiest one. She always amazes me, hypnotized me…

Kawazu Zakura, the earliest sakura that bloom between the last winter and early spring. can’t take my eyes off you

And this Little Miss Sakura, another creation created inspired by sakura.  She really enjoys the beginning of spring, fresh air gently waves her slowly…. oh so nice…

Little Miss Sakura Wall Decor

And now she’s ready on my Etsy shop 🙂 Probably one of you want to enjoy your spring with her, she’s ready to be sent directly to your house 🏡

Once again, sakura is inspiring me.. though now you are far away from my sight, but i always have you deep in my memory 🌸💛 Happy spring from this warm country…

Sakura Dreamcatcher

Sakura… I always love sakura even now i currently live in a tropical country. My first experience with sakura was about 3 years ago, when I accidentally had to move to Tokyo-Japan, to followed my husband for about more than 2 years. I could say that that was really beyond my expectations, I was so lucky then. Sakura was SO beautiful, they’re SO awesome!

white sakura is a regular sakura that usually bloom in the mid of April. They looked fluffy just like some clouds from far away..

A few weeks ago I challenged myself to made a sakura crochet. So I opened my old photos to observed sakura to get more details. Sakura has 5 petals, usually comes in white, pale pink, or pale purple. And it has a smooth V-curved at the top on each petal. And that thing was really hard to achieve with crochet technique, but it seemed I did it after trial and error a view times!

my own sakura

And then my friend asked me (read : begged me) to have all sakura crochet that I’ve made after she’s stalking on my Instagram. I know she really loves flowers, no wonder she asked me right away 🙂

After a week passes by, here it is.. a sakura dreamcatcher especially for her 🙂

Teacup Crochet Patchwork

I’m SO in love with my own teacup crochet patchwork, is there something wrong with me or is this a normal feeling? lol !

Every time i make a new crochet pattern, i always think to the basic that the type of yarn or hook are not really necessary to be considered and the pattern should be versatile. Means it useful for any kind of project depends on your needs. I let you to sharpened your own idea through my pattern.

For example, this teacup crochet patchwork is suitable as a coaster or a wall decor just like i created.

as a wall decor

When i use it as a wall decor, i attach it onto a cotton fabric and i added a hand-embroidery statement words and also some beads and buttons as an embelishment. It looks cute, doesn’t it?

Thanks to my habbit, sipping a mug (not a cup) of tea almost in every morning. Tea is my most favorite drink ever ! And next i have to find a new idea to make a “cup of coffee crochet applique” :p
